Oh man those are pretty! That will look so amazing!!!
Your hexies are adorable! You're smart to start them now, so you can sew some together and then set them aside for a while if you get tired of it.
You know, I hated prepping hexies. But once they are together they sew up super quick!
I love this. How are you going to sew it? Hand stitching it? Have you ever tried a zigzag stitch? Would that look horrible? Just my rambling thoughts...
I agree with starlightsound. The prep work takes forever, but once that's done, I can sit down and sew 50 together watching a movie. Love the way you've laid these out.
Looks... So... Good.....
Looking good Melinda!!
WOW what a great selection of fabrics! I Love these, couldn't you just eat them up?! What an amazing choice to put them on the back- can't wait to see the front!! xx
I love this! I can't wait to see this finished. It will be gorgeous!!
Love this. What a great idea for a backing - I wouldn't know which side to keep the quilt on :)
You have an amazing collection of fabrics.
You've inspired me... This is beautiful. I'm going to cut small squares (I'm not ready for hexes) of all the fabrics I've used, so i have something for the back. Excellent!
hee! hee! hee! I think it's definitely time to start sewing them together otherwise you'll wind up with thousands and then it will definitely be tricksy!
these are breathtaking! but you better be careful melinda - you're heading into "the back is so pretty i have to make it a front" territory again!
You are awesome! Thanks for leaving a comment :)
