This is what I've been spending my crafting time on lately.
There are a lot of changes and adjustments in my household lately. Big things.
I still have lots of great sewing ideas and inspiration, but I can't seem to wrap my head around choosing fabrics or the actual sewing of these "great ideas."
I have done a little simple block sewing.
But I can't work on my block design ideas at the moment. I just want to cuddle up with a blankie, watch Downton Abbey, and knit knit knit. I'll come out of this funk in a couple more days. Until then, you know where to find me.

Oh, that green... And the gray is perfect with it!
I'm sorry you've been in a funk. My mom uses that phrase too. :) I hope the changes are all good.
It is so lovely to curl up on the couch with good TV (hard to find) and a hand project (there are too many!).
Take care!
That is Exactly what I have been doing lately, Knitting! I don't know if it is the cool weather or just a change in pace, but I have just been drawn to knit instead of sew. Don't worry inspiration will strike and when it does you will be ready!
I go into that funk around big transitions too. There's just too much going on for the ideas to have room. But, getting out of it is definitely a refreshing thing.
Embrace to funk, always best just to go with it! The blocks are gorgeous and the knitting looks fab so keep on keeping on :)
Beautiful knitting!
I hope you feel more like yourself soon, or like your new self.
Best wishes, Muriël
Enjoy Downton! I've finally watched the Christmas episode (I've been saving it!) and it was well worth the wait!
Downtown Abbey! My sister exposed me to this show over the weekend, my mother and I were hooked immediately! I find those "little simple blocks" to be lovely. Small victories are still victories!
i don't want to kick your pants - i want to curl up on the couch and knit with you!!
hope all is well over there and your big changes are all good changes.
That sounds just lovely...perfect in fact. I think tomorrow night may find me curled up with my knitting and something good to watch. I haven't started downtown abbey yet, but it's on my list. Sometimes a knitting break is so refreshing, just being able to use a totally different creative outlet. We are going through some pretty big adjustments too, so I can relate.
maybe this curves class will improve your sewing mojo ... I am taking the class, too. I am going to add your blog to my reader so I can see how your projects turn out!! =)
Your knitting is going wo well! I haven't tried Downtown Abbey, but I keep hearing so much about it that I am so tempted.:)
