It's an interesting pattern - I like how it swoops up and around, leaving that punch of green at the top.piecemealquiltshttp://piecemealquilts.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3370653771155572902.post-38055004528005935692012-03-08T06:36:55.736-06:002012-03-08T06:36:55.736-06:00Beautiful! I love in Florida and often just keeping my neck warm with a small shawlette along with a light sweater is plenty to keep me warm. It's amazing how much warmer one feels with their neck covered.Jackie's Stitcheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04728521317964661942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3370653771155572902.post-16178124976401242982012-03-08T03:14:46.522-06:002012-03-08T03:14:46.522-06:00It's beautiful - I love the stripes and colour...It's beautiful - I love the stripes and colours. I love shawls too :-) - you need a lovely wooden shawl pin so that it won't fall off whilst you're bustling about. As for Madelinetosh - I couldn't say, never knitted with it but I've heard so many lovely things about it, maybe I'll just have to give it a go. p.s. I don't know why shawls aren't way more popular - they are so warm! The coldest I have ever been was at Stonehenge in England in the dead of winter - late afternoon, no sun, fierce wind. I took the shawl that was draped "fashionably" around my shoulders and pulled it around my head - Babushka style - and tied it under my chin - perfect. Covered my head, neck and shoulders - the ultimate cosy :-) I think we should lead a revival!lilyhttp://www.blockaday.comnoreply@blogger.com
